Kansas City, MO – Midwest Physicians, part of HCA Midwest Health System, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ob/Gyn specialist, Bela Satija, MD, to The Women’s Center at Brookside and the medical staff of Research Medical Center. Dr. Satija will offer comprehensive prenatal and obstetrical care, as well as general gynecologic care.
Dr. Satija brings a strong clinical and research expertise to The Women’s Center, and has been the recipient of numerous academic awards. She most recently worked in private practice in Virginia. Dr. Satija is a junior fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists and a member of Ware Dunn Society of Virginia Commonwealth University. After receiving her medical degree in India, Dr. Satija continued her studies at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Pennsylvania. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond, where she served as chief resident.
The Women’s Center at Brookside provides services ranging from women’s annual exams to obstetrical care to management of medical issues, preventive medicine and female cancer screenings.
