Research Medical Center—part of HCA Midwest Health, Kansas City’s leading healthcare provider—announces that Brian Kindred, M.D. and Dan Schaper, M.D. have joined the hospital’s medical staff. Drs. Kindred and Schaper are board-certified and fellowship-trained in orthopedic surgery and specialize in total knee and hip joint replacement and sports injuries.
Dr. Kindred earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Kansas. He did an orthopedic surgery residency at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Schaper earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Pittsburg State University. He did an orthopedic surgery residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois.
